Johns Hopkins Glacier
Glacier Bay, Johns Hopkins Inlet and Glacier
One of the most impressive glaciers in the park is the Johns Hopkins Glacier at the end of the Reid Inlet. Cruise ships are not allowed any further than this early in the summer, because of the seals giving birth on the ice chunks. The numbers of those seals has been significantly declining in recent years.
