Mendenhall Lake
Juneau, Mendenhall Glacier and Lake
Mendenhall Lake collects the runoff from the Mendenhall Glacier. A stream connects this lake to the Ocean. Mendenhall glacier is therefore not a tidewater glacier. It is retreating quite rapidly, though it is not a frequently calving glacier.
