Patsy Ann
Juneau, Patsy Ann, Statue
Patsy Ann has become a Juneau legend. Although she was deaf, she could always tell when a ship was coming, even when it was not on schedule and people weren't expecting one. She would go down to the dock to greet the arriving crew and passengers. She would supposedly go to the correct dock, even when others waited on another dock. She was a stray dog, but the town adopted her when an town ordinance ordered the removal of all strays.
