Pelican
Pelican is one of my favorite communities in Alaska. It is what I expected southeast Alaska to be. Most of the remote town is on a boardwalk, and has an old, run-down atmosphere about it. But it has been through some hard times lately, with loss of the fishing and lumber industries.
