Mt Dewey
Wrangell, Mt. Dewey
A short hike up the hill known as Mt. Dewey leads to this overlook of the town. It was at this spot back in 1879 that John Muir lit a huge bonfire on a stormy night and scared the local Tlingit Indians making them suspicious of him from then on.
