Wrangell

Wrangell is a rugged small town in the southern Inside Passage.  It is the only town in Alaska to have been governed by four different nations, the Tlingit, Russians, British, and Americans.  It is the base for explorations up the Stikine River.  It is also famous for its petroglyphs and the garnets that local kids sell to cruise ship passengers
