Inside Passage

The Inside Passage refers to the waterway protected by islands for nearly its whole length that extends from Vancouver BC to Skagway, Alaska.  It is one of the most popular routes for cruise ships, and for good reason.  The towns are very interesting, and make great bases for fascinating excursions, including Juneau's Ice Field, the Fjords of Tracy Arm and Misty Fjords, tidewater glaciers, one of the World's great train trips in Skagway, totem poles, and impressive wildlife sightings.
