Katmai Brooks Camp
Brooks Camp is where most people go to see the brown bears. During the annual salmon runs, lots of bears congregate at or near Brooks Falls to take part in the feast. There is a boardwalk and platform from which the bears can be viewed, but it can get very crowded with people. I actually found the lakes and nearby areas to be more productive.
