Katmai Geographic Bay

Katmai National Park is most famous for its brown bears, with the most popular spot being the Brooks River, and the McNeil River just outside the park.  Katmai can only be reached by boat or by plane.  It is also famous for its volcanoes and the Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes.  I did not get to any of those locations.  We will concentrate on the brown bears at Geographic Bay, a coastal portion of the park.
