Richardson Highway
The Richardson Highway connects Fairbanks with the coastal community of Valdez. It was the first road in Alaska, and part of it follows an old Gold Rush route. This page will also include the Edgerton Highway that branches off the Richardson Highway to connect with the McCarthy Road at Chitina, on the edge of Wrangell St. Elias National Park.
