Kennicott

Kennicott is the ghost town that is the home to the Kennecott Mine.  The two are actually spelled differently due to a clerical error when the mine was first incorporated.  The Kennecott Mine was  abandoned suddenly in 1938, and everything was left behind pretty much intact.  It has become a particularly photogenic set of ruins in a spectacular setting.
