Whales
The Sea of Cortés is home to many types of whales, including Gray, Blue, Humpback, Fin, and Right whales just to name a few. The most impressive is the great migration of the gray whale, which returns each year from Alaska to a few protected lagoons along the Baja Peninsula to give birth each year. One of those locations is Bahia Magdalena, which is featured on its own page on this site.
