The BAJA PENINSULA

The Baja Peninsula of Mexico is the third longest peninsula in the world, behind only the Malaysian Peninsula and the Kamchatka Peninsula.  It is bordered by the Pacific Ocean on the West, and the Sea of Cortés on the East.  The stark dry desert beauty contrasts with the clear blue ocean water.  All of the pictures on these pages were taken while working on cruises with Cruise West, on either the Spirit of Endeavour or the Spirit of '98 cruise ships.
