Sandakan Temple
Sandakan, Puu Juh Shih Buddhist Temple
This large impressive temple overlooks the town of Sandakan. Sandakan was the center of timber harvesting from the 1960's to 80's, and most of the old growth forest has now been replaced by palm plantations and cocoa estates.
