Temple Peace Sign
Sandakan, Puu Jih Shih Buddhist Temple
This is a view of some of the landscaping of the temple grounds and the stairway that leads down to the town. The symbol portrayed here is actually a peace sign, seen in temples throughout southern Asia, and also seen in many ancient cultures, not to be confused with the bastardization of the design by the Nazi's during WWII.
