Sarawak, Longhouse Community
There are no roads into the interior of Sarawak. It is all jungle rainforest, and the rivers and streams make up the roads. People travel in small longboats, like canoes, upriver many miles to various different longhouses. They are very remote but generally do welcome visitors. The ancestors of these people used to be head hunters, though that is a tradition no longer practiced with regularity here.
