BORNEO

Borneo is a wild land of incredible biodiversity and wildlife.  Unfortunately, much of that has been lost as most of the forests have been clear cut and replaced by palm oil plantations.  Many of the wildlife species are now endangered.  There are still a few areas where the old growth has been preserved. This visit is to the Malaysian part of Borneo including Sabah and Sarawak.  It includes a two day trek up Mt. Kinabalu, and a visit to an orangutan sanctuary.
