Arenal Volcano
Arenal Volcano is a very active volcano, typically having minor eruptions several times a day. It is popular to watch the eruptions from nearby viewing points at night time, when the red lava lights up brilliantly against the dark background. During the day, rumblings and small earthquakes can often be felt. I was not fortunate enough to see any of those eruptions.
