COSTA RICA

Costa Rica is famous for its many national parks and environmental sensitivity.  It has active volcanoes and wild beaches.  It also has one of the highest literacy rates in the world.  The coastal regions on this site were explored during a cruise on Cruise West's M/V Pacific Explorer, while the inland sections were done independently or through short day tours.
