Khajuraho, Lakshmana Temple
The temples at Khajuraho were all built a millennium ago, all of them within a century and each was lavishly decorated with stone figures. Some of the figures are realistic day to day life, while others are of mythical figures. This group was one of the earliest of the temples, built in about 930AD.
