Leprosy Sign

Orchha, Sign

Ain't that the truth!  Leprosy is still a very common disease in many developing countries.  One of the characteristics of leprosy is that nerve endings are lost, so there is a loss of sensation in areas of the skin. Without sensing pain, victims do not know they are getting burned or injured in some way, and the injury continues, leading to severe ulcers, burns, disfigurement. A cure is available today, but not everyone has ready access to it.
