Varanasi
Varanasi, on the Ganges, is the ultimate Hindu pilgrimage. It is full of temples, and extensive ghats (steps) where people bathe, drink, and even choose to die or be cremated in the waters of the Ganges River. It claims to be one of the World's oldest cities.
