Last Supper
Milan, The Last Supper
The Last Supper is one of the World's most famous paintings. It was painted by Leonardo da Vinci in the late 1400s. This picture was taken while the painting was being renovated. It is not in very good condition, though it is surprising it is still in any condition at all. Napolean's troops used it as target practice, it has been whitewashed over, and in World War II, the other three walls to this room were destroyed by bombing. The painting can be found in the Santa Maria delle Grazie Church.
