Aeolian Islands
The Aeolian Islands are a collection of small actively volcanic islands to the Northeast of Sicily. Each is distinctly different, from the pungent sulfuric gas smells on the island of Vulcano, to the frequent lava flows of Stromboli, one of the most active volcanoes in the World.
