Hiroshima Peace Hall

The full name of this memorial is the "Hiroshima National Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims". This is the Hall of Remembrance. The wall is a panorama that recreates the view of the city seen from the hypocenter after the bomb. A total of 145,000 tiles were used to make this wall, which is the number of people believed to have died as a result of the bomb by the end of 1945. Information is kept here on each of the victims for whom information and photographs are available.
