Kenrokuen Garden Tea Ceremony

This woman is passing out the small snacks that go along with the tea for the ceremony. Tea ceremonies are very regimented and follow strict tradition. I found the tea itself to be stronger, greener, frothier, and thicker than I had expected. It was very different from green tea I have had before.
