Whakapapa Village Chateau
Whakapapa, Tongariro National Park, New Zealand
This chateau in the village of Whakapapa is a local landmark. It sits in the shadow of Mt. Ruapehu, a very large active volcano. The village name is quite unusual, as it is a Maori name and the 'wh' is pronounced like an 'f'.
