White Island Destruction
White Island, New Zealand
I'm not sure if these logs and stumps are from this island or were washed ashore. Very little plant life can survive in this part of the island, with the acidic soil and water and frequent eruptions. On the backside of the island, however, there are plants and a nesting bird colony.
