Heart's Content, Original Telegraph Cable
Heart's Content is the site of the Canadian side of the first successful transatlantic telegraph cable station. These are some of the original cables, still in place, which connect to Valentia Island on the west coast of Ireland. The cable station now serves as a very interesting museum.
