St Johns
St. Johns, from Signal Hill
St. Johns is the oldest European city in North America. Today its economy is based on fishing, oil exploration, shipping, and tourism. The city surrounds this well-protected harbor (the entrance to the sea is to the left). It is interesting that its time zone is one half-hour ahead of the eastern time zone.
