Gander, Silent Witness Memorial
This statue memorializes the site of a DC-8 plane crash in 1985 which lost the lives of 248 'Screaming Eagles' of the US 101st Airborne Division and 8 crew members who were returning home from a UN peacekeeping mission in the Sinai.
