Acadia National Park

Acadia National Park is one of the most visited of all the national parks.  It occupies much of Mt. Desert island and a few pieces of land off the island.  It is known for its rocky shores, the impressive views from Cadillac Mountain, and its carriage roads. Much of it was donated to the United States by the Rockefeller family.
