Kancamagus Highway
The Kancamagus Highway is a very popular drive along the southern portion of the White Mountains, and is undeveloped highway. Locals for some reason pronounce it 'KANG-a-MANG-us', though it is really pronounced just like it is spelled, 'KANK-a-MAG-us' like the Indian Chief for whom it was named.
