Panama Canal, Bridge of the Americas
The Bridge of the Americas spans the Panama Canal near its entrance on the Pacific Ocean. It is part of the Trans-American Highway, which extends from Alaska to Argentina, missing only a small segment in the Darien Jungle near the Panama/Columbia border. After going under the bridge toward the Pacific, the skyline of Panama City is soon visible on the Port (left hand) side of the ship.
