Diving Pelicans

Pelicans fly and skim over the water very gracefully, in sharp contrast to the way they plop into the water when diving. Near the top of the picture is a frigate bird, which does not dive into the water, but instead steals food from other birds in mid-air. In the background is the San Felipe Church.
