Dolphin Frenzy
Dolphin Frenzy, Sea of Cortes, Baja, Mexico
I was working aboard Cruise West's Spirit of Endeavour, a small cruise ship traveling along the Baja Peninsula in the Sea of Cortes. It was morning, and a group of dolphins started swimming along side the ship, first very gracefully, then in an all-out frenzy.
This picture was a winner in the 2005 National Wildlife Magazine Annual Photo Contest. It was also featured as photo of the week on the Animal Planet Report television show.
