French Polynesia

French Polynesia is what many people think of when they picture the south Pacific. There are three main sets of islands, from the beautiful volcanic lagoon surrounded Society Islands; to the flat, low-elevation Tuamotu atolls with their coral reefs; to the rugged Marquesas.  This is the area we visited most during these cruises.
