Upper Heyford
Until the mid 1990's, this town hosted an American Air Force Base. I was stationed there for a couple of years, and had the good fortune to be able to live in a four hundred year old stone cottage in a nearby village.. It was very difficult for me to leave this area when the base closed and I had to go back to the U.S.
