Coniston Water Queue

These people line up for a boat ride on Coniston Water. Sometimes you can gather valuable clues about a place by how people wait in line. If this were in Nova Scotia, people would be sharing meals with each other. In Massachusetts, the people would all be closer together and facing different directions. If it were Germany, everyone would be pushing toward the front of the line. If it were Italy, most of the people would be in the water, and the last on on the dock would still be trying to push something. Notice how evenly spaced everyone is. That is typical for England's queues.
