Lake District

If I had to name a favorite part of England, in a land so chock full of fascinating and beautiful places, I would have to choose the Lake District.  It is really the hills that define the beauty of the Lake District.  It is a very walkable area, and it is popular to hike from one B&B to another over the hillside trails.
