Stonehenge
Stonehenge is the most famous and impressive of England's ancient sites. Not a lot is known as to how and why it was built, but it is felt to have been built around 3000 BC. Today it is a huge tourist attraction and access to the site is limited. A lot of money is being spent now to divert the nearby roadways and provide a better experience visiting the site.
