Birmingham
Birmingham is one of England's largest cities, and lays claim to having more canals than Venice, though they don't quite look the same. Most of the city is very modern architecture as much of it was destroyed in WWII. Here is a monument to the industrial revolution, which started nearby and led to the growth and prosperity of this city.
