Wales

Wales, like Scotland, is not technically a country in its own right, but certainly strives to be, and the people there maintain their own separate identity.  But Wales itself is also quite divided, between the green, rolling hills and rugged coastline of the south and the rough spectacular beauty of the mountains of the north and Snowdonia. Both areas have some of the most impressive and interesting castles anywhere.
