Burr Trail
Capitol Reef National Park, Burr Trail
The Burr Trail is a spectacular drive that winds through the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument and cuts through the southern portion of the park. Up until Capitol Reef, the road is paved, but becomes dirt road once it enters the park. When I was there, there had been quite a bit of rain and the dirt road was nearly impassible, especially in a rental car like I had.
