Capitol Reef National Park

Capitol Reef may be the least known of Utah's National Parks, but is still very beautiful, especially if you take some of the side roads and hikes.  The name is based on some of the rock formations that look like the US Capitol dome, and the big fold  or staircase of rock that impeded travel much like a reef did in an ocean.
