Snow Canyon State Park

Snow Canyon is located just outside of St. George, and is named not for the white stuff but for an earlier pioneer to that area.  This is another of the state parks that competes well with the more famous national parks.  There is plenty to see and do in this park, with a lot of variety, from sand dunes, to slot canyons, to arches, to lava flows, to historic sites, to climbing on petrified sand dunes.
