Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial

Franklin Delano Roosevelt served longer than any other president, during the great depression of the 1930s and most of World War II.  This was especially notable as he suffered from polio and for much of his presidency he was in a wheelchair.  This is one of the newer memorials in Washington.  It is essentially four outdoor rooms, arranged in order to celebrate each of his terms of office.  Some have statues which portray him or something representative of the era.  Others are more of a modern art theme, and what some of those represent escapes me.
