The City
Washington DC is a beautiful and monumental city, worthy of its position as the nation's capital. But it also has all the problems with a city of its size, including a tremendous crime rate, a large population of homeless beggars (as well as professional beggars), litter, traffic and parking problems, etc. I am told that some of those things have improved over recent years.
