Washington DC

The capital of the United States holds a different status than the rest of the country. It is a small square of land that lies between the states of Virginia and Maryland.  It is a monumental town in more ways than one.  This page will focus mostly on the tourist sites, including the monuments, memorials, museums, and historic sites.
